Earthquake tremors were felt in the entire North India including Delhi-NCR. Its intensity on the Richter scale was 6.6. According to information, the epicenter of this earthquake was the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan. Tremors were also felt in Pakistan’s Islamabad, Lahore, and Peshawar. So far there is no news of any loss of life or property in India due to the earthquake.
According to the Department of Seismology, the tremors were felt at 10:17 pm at a distance of 90 km from Kalafgan, Afghanistan. The pictures are coming from the high-rise societies of Noida, in which it can be seen that people came out of their homes and came to the park. The earthquak was so strong that people were very scared. Mild tremors of Erthquake were felt in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand.
Apart from this, earth-quake tremors were felt in Chamoli, Uttarkashi’s Ganga Valley, Yamuna Ghati, Mussoorie, Punjab’s Moga, Bathinda, Mansa, Pathankot, Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad, Saharanpur, Shamli and Jaipur.

Stay as safe as possible during an earthquake. Keep in mind that some earthquaks are actually foreshocks and that a larger Bhukamp may occur shortly after. Reduce your movement completely and reach the nearest safe place. Stay indoors until the shaking has stopped and you are sure it is safe to leave.
