The Basic Education Department had issued an order regarding winter vacation in its annual vacation program. Council’s schools will remain closed during winter vacation from 31st December to 14th January.
However, teachers will be given training during these 15 days’ leave. This has been opposed by teachers’ unions. UP has declared winter vacation from 31 December 2021 to 14 January 2022 in the holiday table released by Secretary Basic Education Council, Prayagraj on 6 January 2021.
