Pot – Satan Sadhu
- Sadhu (devil)
- Two boys (Villagers)
- King
- Gurudev (King’s Guru)
- Salim (the end of the monk)
Long time ago, there was a huge forest near a village (Kunvari). A monk also lived in the same forest, two boys of Kunwari village used to go to the same forest for grazing goats. Both of them used to see a monk everyday in the same forest, and used to give him little by little of their food. That monk was so old that he could not even walk. Due to his helplessness both those boys used to give him food. That monk knew many skills, like controlling a person etc.
Due to the food given by those two boys, that monk got well in a good way. When he was fully recovered, he built a dungeon-like house for himself in the same forest. Because now the cold season had come in the village. But both those boys still used to graze goats everyday in the same forest. That forest was very scary anyway. But some people of the village did not believe that this forest is very scary.
One day when both those boys reached to the monk with their food, they saw that the monk was not there, but after some time one boy saw it and said to the other boy – he is Sadhu Maharaj. But how did they know when and what events would happen.
The next day, when the Satan Sadhu saw those two boys, he got greedy that he would get meat to eat today. Laddus started bursting in the mind of the monk. He took out his weapon of subjugation and subdued both the boys along with their goats. First he ate the meat of those goats to fill his stomach, then the next day he killed those two boys and ate them. Now he started feeling that if he continues to eat meat like this, his dark powers will very soon double and become immortal.
Now he would go to that village and bring a child under his control everyday and eat their meat sitting in the same cell. Slowly 1 child then second child, then third. This went on for many years. Slowly children started disappearing from the village. Keeping this in mind, the villagers did not allow their children to go out.
One day the same sage (devil) reached the king’s palace to beg for alms.
The king said (politely)- “Tell me Mahatma what will you take”.
Sadhu (humbly) – Maharaj, I don’t want anything, I just want the end of that demon who kills people by taking them under his control.
The king (politely) – Oh great man “Where does that devil live?”
Satan Sadhu (politely) – Lives in the nearby forest.
Raja (politely) – You leave now Mahatman, I treat this Satan Sadhu.
When the hermit is about to leave, he takes the king’s daughter, Princess Meena, under his control, and leaves. At night, when the Satan Sadhu calls Meena, the princess walks to the forest in her sleep, and then after coercing her, she is said to be beaten to death. When the king came to know about this, he searched everywhere for the princess and when she was not found, the king started crying bitterly. Then he immediately asked his doorman to call Gurudev.
When Gurudev heard this problem, he gave an order to call a person named Salim from the nearby village. The king immediately did the same. He called Salim and told about that incident in detail, then Salim set out to find that monk. After many days, Salim met the monk. So as soon as he saw Salim, that Satan Sadhu fell down and fainted. Because the talisman around Salim’s neck was very powerful.
Salim informed the king without delay and that Satan Sadhu was imprisoned in the same dungeon (palace). When that monk’s eyes opened, he started thinking of taking revenge on Salim. Only then Salim came and as soon as the monk touched Salim, he was burnt to ashes by the effect of the same talisman.
